CANCELLATION & NO SHOWS 

 

Your appointment is booked solely for your dog, not showing up or cancelling with inadequate notice ( 48 hours) can be detrimental to our small business. We send out complimentary text reminders at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, however this is complimentary so please take note of your appointment as ultimately it’s your responsibility to keep your booked appointment. 


If you miss your appointment you are liable for up to the full price of your booked appointment which will need to be paid within 24hours, if no payment is received then all future appointments will be cancelled. We will then not take any further bookings from you unless payment is made in full at the time of booking and any moneys owed settled

TO BE CLEAR

 

more than 48 hours notice = No Charge 

48-24 hours notice = 50% of the booked appointment 

24 hours or less = 100% of the groom price

LATENESS 

​

As stated above, Your appointment is booked solely for your dog and being late may mean we have insufficient time to complete your dogs groom, this can result in you being turned away and libel for the full cost of the groom, we usually give a MAXIUM time of 15 minutes grace, if you find yourself running late please call the salon on 07714273763 to keep us updated.

FLEAS & TICKS

 

Additional charge of £50 if your dog comes into the salon with fleas, lice and worms, please ensure your dog is up to date with there flea, Tick and worming treatment. If your dog has presented with ticks, we will remove them at a charge of £5 per tick but capped at £30. ​

MATTED DOGS

​

Here at K9 Cleaners Pet Grooming we will not cause unnecessary pain and suffering for the sake of vanity, not only is it cruel but unlawful and against the Animal Welfare Act 2006, we are able to safely remove small matts around the size of a 50p in known friction areas. 

if K9 Cleaners ARE presented with a matted dog that required shaving a surcharge of £10+ depending on the severity.

DOGS IN SEASON OR PREGNANT 

​

K9 Cleaners do not groom females dogs in season, while pregnant or feeding puppy's.

Dogs in season are more likely to pick up an infection and can be more sensitive, not to mention its not nice for the Dog, groomer or other male dogs coming into the salon. Although sometimes owners can be caught off guard with an unexpended seasons and only discovered while grooming is underway, the surcharge of £15 will be added to  you groom price 

under NO Circumstances will K9 Cleaners groom a suspected pregnant or pregnant dogs.

ISSUES WITH A GROOM

 

In the unlikely event that you have noticed a problem with your dogs groom, we would need to be informed of any issues within 48 hours of your appointment. we will endeavour to do our best to solve any issues that may arise
